Welcome to My Savanna Sun,

I appreciate you visiting and discovering my new love. The last 25 years I’ve been teaching and training in the martial arts (USAWORLDCHAMP.COM). 
I’ve committed myself 100% to my career. From running my own karate school and touring the country competing. I made the decision to sell my karate school to be a full time mom. I have the best job in the world being home raising our two children. What a special time in my life. My husband bought me a camera for Mother’s Day. I found a new love-photography. I believe I had an artistic side, but never got to explore it because of my demanding career touring and teaching. But, I found it and love discovering the world through a camera lens. You can look at something daily with two eyes and not notice the beauty of an object. Then you look through a lens and the whole world looks different. Our world moves at such high pace that I feel we don’t stop and see beauty around us. I hope my website will stop the world for a moment so you can enjoy what I’ve found. I’m so excited to discover new things and share them with you. Photography has inspired my artistic side to write children books, martial arts books, appreciate nature, be more creative and enjoy others talent. Enjoy!
